Bored Gamer in Other Worlds - Chapter 945
“I go by the name of Song Shuhang in this world. It’s my pleasure to know you Sister Mo Chu. I heard many good things about the Northguard School of Mages.” Our bored gamer replied.
The identity of the body he possessed right now was a runaway prince in a nearby kingdom.
He was only mentioned in passing on the novel since assassins of his kin has slaughtered him in the very first chapters of the book.
This was only significant because it would mark as the beginning of a long ugly war between mortals and their friends.
It seemed that major changes about the novel were about to happen but our avid gamer cared nothing about it at all.

One should know that there were old monsters out there that were able to kill that immortal soul inside the blood diamond.
“Song Shuhang? The runaway prince from Highwell Kingdom? That’s…’ Mo Chu paused in her words. She would have said that such a claim was preposterous at best.
One should know that the Highwell Kingdom was a mortal domain that knew no magic of the mages. Nevertheless, she was wise enough to let this lie be.
It was not good for her health to confront this statement without benefit on her part. Mo Chu smiled and continued with what she wanted to say.
“It’s an honor to meet a true prince at last. I can’t say that I’ve ever met one in my life. This is a first indeed.” Mo Chu said.
It did not need telling that the Highwell Kingdom or any kingdom for that matter was extremely far away from the location of this village.
This was also the very reason why the original Song Shuhang chose this place to begin with.
“I am a prince no more.” Our bored gamer shook his head. He could see the change in expression of all the people around him.
Since the mage Mo Chu has indicated, there was really no falsehood in her words. Song Shuhang who they consider as just a handsome straggler in their village was most probably a might mage just like her. More than that, he was also a prince!
“…” Awe and shock was apparent upon the eyes of the audience. Everyone tried so hard to process all this information but they were lucky enough to remain mere spectators in the scene.
Nobody even spared any words of surprise that would break the conversation between two great mages. No one dared to breath hard in the presence of these untouchable beings.
“Are you not here to do your job, Fellow Mage Mo Chu? It’s not good to let these children remain in suspense for too long.” Clark reminded the beautiful mage in a rather formal address.
It was obvious that he also has something to gain from this ordeal. Mo Chu has of course noted this detail and she has not let her curiosity wander far into pitiful speculations only.
There was no need to do so. What will come shall eventually be revealed in due time.
“Yes. Of course.” Mo Chu wore her usual beautiful smile and she was quite proud of her façade. Our good gamer on the other hand paid no mind to such childish plays.
One should know that he was not here to play any games at all.
“Let the first one come forward!” Mo Chu commanded in a clear voice and the test began in full.

“FAIL!”
“FAIL!”
“FAIL!”

These results marked the fate of many children in the field. Some cried in sorrow while others jump in joy. The test given was easy or hard depending on who would look upon it.
Mo Chu only released a little bit of her mage presence and everyone near her would be forced to submit in a kneeling position.
One only needed to resist this tiny pressure and stand up for a dozen seconds in order to pass the test.
Alas, it was not hard to imagine the difficulty of this task since no children met the criteria even after more than an hour of testing.
This was true until the main character of this novel walked weakly forward.
“What are you doing here, Wan Min?!”
“You can’t partake in the test!”
“Get the fuck out of here!”
“Don’t offend our visitors!” The people in the village said one after another. They were all looking at a young boy of 18 who got a disability of some sort.
One of his feet was shorter than the other that made him a magnet for both bullies and pity alike.
It would have been good if Wan Min still had family to take care of him but alas, he was the cliché orphan protagonist of the many.
“I want to take the test. I believe that I have the talent to become a strong mage like you.” Wan Min said in a firm voice. This confidence had to come from somewhere. And of course it did.
The usual protagonist template had given Wan Min more gifts than his counterparts. He had vivid dreams that tell him things about this world and beyond.
The voice in his dreams promised that he will not be mediocre but will become someone powerful in the future. He only received this boon lately.
“…” Our bored gamer smiled the moment he read the mind of the Wan Min. He could not believe that consequences of his advent in this novel was already happening before his eyes.
“You may come forward.” Mo Chu agreed against all the expectations of the majority. She had only done this thing since she noticed a subtle disturbance in the mage force around.
Since this was not her doing then there could only be one likely suspect in the area. And that was none other than our very own protagonist.
‘Mage casting without any vocal trigger? Just who the hell is this guy?!’ Mo Chu noted in alarm.
