MMORPG: Rebirth as an Alchemist - Chapter 383
Chapter 383: The Guild Wars 2
Guns and Knives successfully smashed through the center. With their DPS holding their ground and the Tanks soaking the damages, the Wall Breaker was still in full HP.
Guns and Knives’ strategies were always simple. Smash through everything with brute force.
If Fate Alliance didn’t come up with a strategy soon, then it would only be a matter of time before their walls got pulverized by the Wall Breaker. Once the walls were broken open, that was the end of it. Every player of Guns and Knives would come pouring in and destroy everything, giving them points before pushing their way toward the TH.
However, if that was how easy it was, then it wouldn’t be a war between two giant guilds.
“Released the Stone Slammer!” Dimitri shouted.
“But it’s too early!”
“We have no choice! They’re going to break our walls!”
At his lead, a giant balloon came forward, carrying with its massive boulders.
No guild had complete control over the siege machines, and once released, it would prioritize what it was intended for.
The Wall Breaker easily bore through walls and everything in its path, and it had a lot of HP. However, it only went in a straight line.

While the Stone Slammer prioritized defense and players and also had a lot of HP, its damage, however, was massive and had at least a hundred square area of destruction. It could even break tough walls with a single boulder.
Stone Slammers were the favorite Siege Machine of this current war.
Each guild could only bring one siege machine from the list of Siege Machines available, and of course, different Siege Machines open up at every TH upgrade.
With each side bringing out their Siege weapon, the tide of the battle quickly leaned to Fate Alliance Guild. Guns and Knives’ left armies were quickly decreasing in number thanks to the large boulders that smashed into their DPS players’ location.
The Stone Slammer could release one boulder every ten seconds, but its damage was enough to annihilate players that were congregating in an area.
Guns and Knives’ left army was weakening, and with it, Fate Alliance was able to push forward, trying to break the formation of their enemy so they could destroy the Wall Breaker before it could reach their walls.
Guns and Knives’ left and right armies were few in number against Fate Alliance, to begin with. Their main army was at the back, marching at the center. Their left and right armies were merely cannon fodders, so they could push their way into Fate Alliance HQ.
The moment that either of their right or left armies got annihilated, their formation would crumble, and their main army would be flanked on both sides by Fate Alliance’s armies.
It was easier for spectators to watch the war from an aerial perspective, but for the two guilds that were currently at war with each other, it was easy for everyone to lose their sense of direction amidst the chaos.
The ones who were leading the battle were the leaders or the strategist of the group, and they were doing it inside their castle walls on top of a high tower where they had a wide view of the general map. They would then relay it via calls through their commanders using the guild feature that was available during the war.
At the start of the war, every guild house would be transported to another plain for battle. Each guild house was at least a kilometer from the other. The terrain was shuffled before the fight, and both sides were given an hour to plan their strategy around the topography.
Luckily, the battle between Guns and Knives and Fate Alliance Guild was held on a flat terrain in a wide field. The others had it rough.
Golden Phoenix against Ferocious Ravens had to battle it out in the desert plains.
White Unicorns versus Sleeping Dragons were in snowy lands.
Black Lion against Great Dynasty battled it out in a swampy marsh.
“O-oh, no. Guns and Knives are going to lose. I can’t watch!” Leonel covered his eyes but peeked at the gap in between his fingers.
Guns and Knives’ left army was being pushed back.
Ren was calm, while Alice was bored. She couldn’t understand what was happening on the screen and would prefer gossiping and spying on others over watching two groups massacring each other.
“I’m out of here,” she said and proceeded to clean the outside of the HQ. No one minded as she left.
“Are they going to be defeated?” Leonel bit his nails and began to pass the blame to the other players in Guns and Knives.
“Relax, they won’t lose,” Ren assured.
Leonel shot up straight. “Really?”
Ren nodded and sighed. The outcome was already clear to him. In his past life, he watched enough Guild Wars that he could practically tell who was going to win with just their formation and the layout of their Guild House.
“It looks like Fate Alliance brought in the wrong Siege Machine for this fight. They might have thought of stalling Guns and Knives in locked combat while their Stone Slammer crept to the other side with their main army.
“But since Guns and Knives made the first move, they were forced to react, and this happened. Bringing the Stone Slammer in this fight would prove to be their downfall.”
Just like Ren said, the moment Fate Alliance brought in their Stone Slammer, Guns and Knives ordered their long-range players to attack the balloon.
Stone Slammer was flying at an altitude that was within the range of mages and archers. It couldn’t fly high because of its weight, and because it was carrying a massive boulder, its movement was also slow.

Unlike with the Guns and Knives’ Wall Breaker, which was protected by Tanks and the DPS players that kept the long-range attacker at bay, the Stone Slammer didn’t have anyone to defend it, and it was easily shot down by the long-range attacker from Guns and Knives.
“Hey, look. It’s Isolde!” Leonel pointed at the screen.
Ren held his chin as he looked at the screen. “This will decide the fight.”
Isolde’s ATP was among the top, and her damage shouldn’t be messed with. Coupled with her legendary weapon, Isolde 4.0, which she got after defeating Jibblinplip, it only took less than a minute before the Stone Slammer got destroyed.
“It’s our chance! Destroy those motherfucking walls!” Xian shouted, and, with his voice and Isolde’s damage, their morale was at an all-time high, and their momentum couldn’t be stopped.
